How a Compact Femtosecond Laser Pushes TAS Differential Signals Into the 10⁻⁴ ΔA Regime
Y-LASER is pleased to introduce the HELIOS-20W-HP compact femtosecond laser, purpose-engineered as a shared source for Transient Absorption Spectroscopy, pump-probe platforms, and TR-PL experiments. With factory-validated 50 / 100 / 200 kHz operation plus a 25 kHz add-on working point, HELIOS-20W-HP delivers 21.8 W / 434 µJ at 50 kHz, sub-190 fs pulse duration, 0.07% RMS power stability over 24 hours, 4.56 µrad pointing stability, M² < 1.11, and 1000:1 pre-pulse contrast. These parameters directly address the stability, overlap, beam quality, and contrast requirements that determine whether weak TAS signals can be resolved in the 10⁻⁴ ΔA regime. One compact Yb-CPA laser, one shared source, multiple ultrafast spectroscopy workflows.
